Will It Ever End?

Today marks my 5th college snow day in 3 years. Impressive huh? It's amazing how hard it is to get anything done when you're stuck inside for days on end. You'd think it would be the best time to get some extra homework done, to catch up on life, but really it's the exact opposite (for me at least). I've slept in and played with Athena in the snow, that's been my day. My lack of motivation to get things done today will be paid for greatly tomorrow, I'm sure, but I've never seen this much snow before!

Tomorrow (weather permitting) I've got to trek down to Liberty for clinical at the hospital, and Kansas City has been slammed with more snow than we have here. So we shall see what tomorrow brings, it'll be an early start! 

I've talked to Andrew and I think he's slightly jealous of all this snow. He loves the cold! He says its around 70 there already, but not a nice 70, a gross, crappy place to be 70. I wish he was here too, he and Athena would have a blast outside in the snow today! I've filled my snow days searching for where we will live when this deployment is finally over! And on Pinterest designing our first home! Part of me can hardly believe that it is almost March! Another month is almost over! Thank goodness!

Another month closer to spring and summer! Another month closer to Homecoming! Another month closer to the big day! Only 235 days until we say our "I do" but whose counting ;) I've been trying my best lately not to whine so much about Andrew being gone, I really miss him. Although I know it could be worse. So I'm thankful for the way this deployment has gone so far. I know he's tough and I know he'll be home just as soon as he can be!

Today I ask you all to think about everyone who has to get out in this crazy weather and think about the 603rd MP's in Afghanistan. I know they would all love to be home snuggling by the fire and building snowmen with their families.

I Hate Snow

I've heard that here in St. Joe we could expect anywhere from 8-24 inches of snow. 24 inches of snow?! Really? I'm going to rant tonight, this is your warning. Feel free to quit reading... Now.

I hate the cold, I hate snow. I believe I was supposed to be born and raised in the south. I literally will be hibernating for days if this really happens. When it's cold and I'm trapped inside I miss Andrew even more. My heart literally is aching for him tonight.

It's Been Awhile

I haven't written in awhile, so I'll catch up. Woo have I been busy, but that's good for a girl whose fiance is deployed, right?

Well so... I've started spending my clinical days at the hospital, I love it! I can't wait to officially be a nurse! (447 days) It's so much fun and interesting and always something to do. I also started a new job, I help sell prom dresses, wedding gowns, tuxes, basically anything formal for a store here in town. I love it too! Between school, work, and wedding planning I am crazy busy. I'm sort of losing my mind, I had to get my wedding band made and they have my ring for 3-5 weeks! Goodness! I feel lost without it! 

Andrew and I have never been much for Valentine's Day. It's expensive, and he spoils me everyday anyway. Although he spoiled me big time this year. Andrew got me a new iPad, needless to say, I LOVE IT! :) he's sweet! 

Andrew has been keeping busy himself. He got a day off today and he enjoyed that. Got to catch up on some sleep, and watch some movies. He's been pretty spoiled with boxes lately but that's wonderful! Because he absolutely deserves it. If you'd like to send him a card or anything I know he'd love it. (I'll get you his address!) 

Wedding planning is crazier everyday. I have so much to do still but no time! Yikes! Tried out some caterers and cake makers, all delicious! My dress should be in soon! YAY! Bridesmaid dress shopping is scheduled for a few weeks from now. Still need to finish gift registries and a zillion other things. If anyone wants to come to school for me for a few weeks while I catch up on life, it would be much appreciated! (Don't everyone jump at once!) Only 244 days until the big day! Woohoo!

Who Cry's During The Super Bowl?

A girl who hasn't seen her fiance in months and still knows how much longer it'll  be until she can. That's who.

No I didn't cry because I wanted the 49ers to win and they didn't. (although I was hoping they would win, I'm not a fan of Ray Lewis) hah. Anyway this is why...
